After you change your payment information, the iTunes Store places an authorization hold on your credit card. Change your payment information on a Mac or PC. Click to open your account in iTunes. (You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.) Alternatively, you can: Open iTunes. Click iTunes Store. Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID. Click your Apple ID and select Account Info. From the Account Information page, click Edit to the right of Payment Type. Change your Apple ID password Follow these steps to change your Apple ID password. Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime and more.

Unlike other iPod devices, the iPod Touch allows you to purchase applications via the App Store, many of which can help manage your businesses finances, organize your business schedule or perform other useful tasks. To purchase an app, you must have an Apple ID; your Apple ID stores all purchases you make from the App Store, allowing you to download them again for free at a later date. It also stores information such as your credit card accounts or any App Store credit. You must have access to a computer to change your Apple ID username and password.

Change Apple ID

Navigate to the My Apple ID website (see Resources).

Enter your current Apple ID username and password and click 'Sign In.'

Click 'Edit' next to your email address in the 'Apple ID and Primary Email Address' field.

Enter your new Apple ID in the field provided. Your new Apple ID must be a valid email address, must not be in use and must not be from an Apple domain.

Changing Apple ID password

1.

Navigate to the My Apple ID website (see Resources).

Select either to authenticate your ownership of the Apple ID through email or by answering a security question and click 'Next.' Depending on the method you chose, you either click a link Apple will send to your registered email address or you answer your security question.

Enter your new password in the 'New Password' field. The password must be at least six characters and cannot be the same as your Apple ID. Re-enter the password in the 'Confirm Password' field.

Click 'Reset Password' to reset your Apple ID password.
